Essay questions from your own book
Questions that make students write and explain, with a model answer for each.
Short and long in one paper
5 short answers at 2 marks check understanding; 2 essays at 5 marks check how a student organises and writes ideas.
Explain, compare, apply
Not every question is "define" or "list": they ask students to explain, compare, apply to a new case or reason from data.
Compare photosynthesis and respiration in terms of energy.
A model answer for each question
A sentence or two for short answers, a paragraph for essays, to mark against or hand out for revision afterwards.
Essays marked online
AI compares each answer with the model answer and the book, giving full, half or zero marks after the exam closes.
